About USO Missouri
USO Missouri is a welcoming rest stop for travelers, offering exceptional service and comfort. Volunteers are friendly and accommodating, providing extra assistance for families with young children and ensuring that solo travelers are well-fed and supplied with snacks. The check-in process is thorough, requiring an ID and luggage check before proceeding. Located in the airport, this USO is open 24 hours, making it an essential resource when flights are delayed or canceled. The facility has recently been remodeled in November 2023, and it is clean and inviting. It features the most beds and computers compared to other USOs, along with plenty of lounge chairs and even some acoustic guitars. The staff is commended for their outstanding kindness and attentiveness, making it a fantastic place for weary travelers.
Reviews
The St Louis USO is outside of TSA Security so I can understand the requirement to having a CAC card screened prior to entry. It would be a bad experience if someone with nefarious intentions would make it through security into a safe zone.
Friendly staff of VOLUNTEERS who take the time to staff the USO. Visitors are a guest at the USO and should not expect to treat the USO as their home.
Keeping the food and drinks off the carpet is understandable with having to clean or replace after wear and tear.
This USO is broken into several areas, lounge, eating, gaming, movie, phone charging, sleeping area and even a children's quiet resting area.
Great folks here, plenty of room. Well organized luggage storage, tv area, gaming and internet, and a quiet area. A kids area with toys and such. For those musical folks, they are a few guitars in a sitting area to use. Great snacks, and drinks. Friendly and professional with us and our service dog.
Thank you STL USO!
