I absolutely love Shawn! I was introduced to him about 12 years ago by some co-workers who had been seeing him and loved him. I have been a loyal client of Shawn's ever since. Whether it's a new cut, a new color, or even an eyebrow wax, he does a great job every single time at an affordable price. I highly recommend him or really any of the stylists at his salon. They are all professional and do a wonderful job.
I visited Shawn Williams at the suggestion of my daughter, he cuts her hair and it always looks good. I am older and most salons cut my hair the same way no matter what I ask for. I took a picture with me and Shawn cut my hair perfectly. He used the picture as a guideline and did a cut that was easy to care for and looked good every day. The parking is not much of an issue, there is lots of parking on the residential street and it is a short walk to the salon.
I've been getting my hair cut by the owner, Shawn Williams, for years. I was thrilled when he opened his own salon a couple of years ago. It's small...just Shawn and 3 other people cutting hair. It's very friendly and most of the regulars seem completely comfortable there. I've seen tons of men, women and kids there. I know Shawn also cuts hair for a couple of people on the local TV news. I personally love that I can go to him and he just remembers what I like and my hair always looks good. And if I'm up for a change and give him a lot of leeway on what to do, I've never been disappointed. The only negative is that parking isn't ideal since they don't have any parking in the tiny lot behind the building during weekdays. But it's in Clayton (near the Galleria), so I think most people are used to parking challenges. The salon is at the corner of Clayton and a residential street leading into a neighborhood, so I just park on the street about one house's length down, and that works for me.
