One of the hardest things about moving to a new area is finding a hairstylist you can trust. It took me almost 2 years of living in STL and (I’m not kidding) the absolute worst haircut of my life from a different salon before I found salon one six one and, specifically, Kai.
The salon itself is clean, inviting, and feels very STL. But for me it’s Kai that makes it magic. After my first haircut with Kai I was sold. Charlie is fabulous. He cares deeply about his clients needs and has great suggestions. If you don’t know what exactly you want, he asks questions and uses his creativity. Not to mention his staff is very polite and the space is bright and welcoming. Highly recommend!
