I came to Michelle with a slightly crazy request— turn a Goodwill dress into my dream wedding jumpsuit. To say she delivered is an understatement. Absolutely obsessed with how this came out, and I think it goes to show how purely talented she is as a seamstress. This is one of many projects she has done for me, and she blows me away every time.
Michelle did my wedding dress alterations and I could not have been happier with the results. My dress fit perfectly and it was very comfortable. I danced all night and my bustle was secure and I never had to worry about stopping to adjust. She was communicative and had great ideas - I never had to worry and was confident I would get exactly what I wanted from the alterations. It was easy to schedule appointments with her and her prices were so reasonable!!! I went to 3 shops before I found her and I’m so glad I took the time to look/ask around.
I had an excellent experience with Michelle in preparing for my wedding. She took my measurements for my custom dress, charging only $10 for her time. Because of her accurate measurements, my dress required limited alterations--just a hook and eye replacement and a steaming. She did both for only $25. My only complaint was that I wasn't informed when the dress was ready, although it was done well before the deadline. I'd have retrieved it sooner. We happily used her again to have the dress cleaned after the wedding.
