I can’t say enough great things about UHURU Natural Hair Salon, especially Sara, who has truly been a lifesaver for us. Sara is our go-to detangler for my daughter, who is 8 years old, mixed, and has naturally curly hair that tangles and dreads very easily. When her hair gets to the point where we can’t comb it out at home, Sara steps in with so much patience, skill, and care. As a Muslim woman, I wear hijab and I cannot show my hair to anyone except my husband and other women. Finding a salon that understands the need for privacy can be difficult.
