I can’t say enough great things about UHURU Natural Hair Salon, especially Sara, who has truly been a lifesaver for us. Sara is our go-to detangler for my daughter, who is 8 years old, mixed, and has naturally curly hair that tangles and dreads very easily. When her hair gets to the point where we can’t comb it out at home, Sara steps in with so much patience, skill, and care. Muslim-Friendly Hair Experience at Uhuru Highly Recommended
I want to share something truly positive.
As a Muslim woman, I wear hijab and I cannot show my hair to anyone except my husband and other women. Finding a salon that understands the need for privacy can be difficult. I called Uhuru, and spoke with a woman named Erica. I explained my situation and asked if there was any way to have my hair done in privacy.
