Jewell Animal Hospital

Jewell Animal Hospital is a compassionate and caring veterinary practice located off Chippewa near Hampton. The hospital has separate exam rooms where pets are placed immediately upon arrival, which is especially helpful for nervous animals who do not have to wait in a shared waiting room. The staff, including the vets, are friendly and punctual, taking the time to clearly explain procedures and recovery steps. They were honest about the uncertainty of dental surgery for a cat and provided a reasonable estimate for the procedure. The hospital also offers a detailed bill and follows up about a week and a half later to check on the pet’s healing. The veterinarians, including Dr. Smith, are known for their gentle treatment of pets. Many clients have trusted them for years, including those who brought dumped kittens with serious health issues to be treated and adopted out through their affiliated shelter. One customer shared that visiting Jewell for a second opinion on a 21-year-old cat’s health was a positive experience, with Dr. Smith being compassionate, friendly, and thorough. Overall, Jewell Animal Hospital is highly recommended for their caring staff and quality care.
