The hospital also offers a detailed bill and follows up about a week and a half later to check on the pet’s healing. The veterinarians, including Dr. Smith, are known for their gentle treatment of pets. Many clients have trusted them for years, including those who brought dumped kittens with serious health issues to be treated and adopted out through their affiliated shelter. I absolutely love this vet office. My boyfriend and I have been bringing our two dogs here for almost 10 years. They are always compassionate and understanding. I’d recommend Dr. Smith to anyone.
Took some dumped kittens here that had some serious health issues. We tried to care for them ourselves, but they weren't doing so hot. This vet treated them, and they also have an affiliated shelter, Forgotten Jewells (I think?) They took our kitties for adoption. So grateful for these folks.
I went to Jewell for a second opinion on my 21 y/o cat's health, after another Cat Clinic nearby sent us out the door with euthanasia pamphlets. I am SO glad I did!!! Dr.Smith was compassionate, friendly, and most importantly... thorough in her exam and explanations. Even though my cat is very old, I left Jewell with a better sense of how to care for an elder cat. My ol' pal has a new vet for however long she has left, and any other pets that come into my life will be treated at Jewell.
