this is by far the best vet staff in the stl area. Dr. Kemp specifically is one of the best vets I have ever interacted with. She is so patient in explaining everything and thoroughly answering any question you may have. The way she interacts with you is so calming and reassuring and she makes you feel like a partner in caring for your animal. I take both my dog and bunny to her and I am so grateful that we have her. I also have to mention the staff there. Any vet tech or nurse I have interacted with has been kind and compassionate. They take the time to know you and be gentle, and are so good with the animals. The tech staff there make you feel cared for and they have a wealth of knowledge that is incomparable.
I don’t even know where to start with Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. My husband and I needed a new vet when we moved to St. Louis, and read wonderful reviews about CCAH. We started bringing our Lexi cat to them when she was healthy, and they were amazing. I’d like to especially recognize Dr. Glaeser, who was Lexi’s primary vet, and Lexi (the human!) vet tech, who loved her namesake like she was her own. Lexi was 14 when we started taking her to CCAH and she developed diabetes a few months after our move to STL. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout her diagnosis. They were always prompt at scheduling appointments, they would call us to check in on her, they would explain our options thoroughly, and took excellent care of our girl. Her health continued to decline, but Dr. Glaeser made sure we were able to keep her around as long as she was feeling good. When it came time to discuss end of life care, they made excellent recommendations for at home euthanasia. They also sent us a beautiful card with handwritten notes from Dr. Glaeser and Vet tech Lexi. This staff loved our girl so much, and they cared about us as clients. We have moved to O’Fallon, MO, now, but will probably still bring any future pets the 20+ miles to CCAH to continue the excellent care they started a few years ago.
Dr. Kemp is an amazing vet! Switched my cats vet since this clinic is much closer to our new home. She was very knowledgeable and understanding. Glad we made the switch to Dr. Kemp!
