As someone who has run the circuit of massage therapy in Milwaukee and various places throughout the country, Lauren at Renew Therapeutic Massage is many, many cuts above the average massage therapist. As a physician, I find it incredible that Lauren has an in depth knowledge of anatomy, muscle groupings, and common (and uncommon) causes of pain and discomfort from whatever activity her clients are doing repetitively. I have been searching for a massage therapist that is knowledgeable about cervical and lumbar disc herniations and I came across Lauren at Renew Massage. I was blessed to schedule a 90min massage with Bill yesterday, with a targeted focus on my neck and shoulder pain. When I tell you this was the best massage I have ever had…Bill put in work and made sure to attend to all of the specific muscle sets outside of neck/shoulder that contribute to my pain in those specific areas, which I really appreciate because I was originally prepared to request exclusive focus on my neck/shoulders. Bill’s expert knowledge of the body was evident and he truly has a healing touch. I will definitely be back and could not recommend his services more highly.
