Bob replaced the heel on several pairs of shoes I had purchased secondhand. His work is excellent, and I enjoyed chatting with him! Note: Bob only accepts cash, and he requires upfront payment.
I wish I took a before picture, because these shoes were insanely worn down. The tip on the heel was gone and the screw inside it was barely visible. The toes of the shoes had no shine left and were detaching from the sole. Bob has magic fingers and fixed all of this in less than a week at an unbelievable price. Highly recommend and will be back to support again!
Finally made the investment on a pair of nice leather boots, ones with real sewn on leather soles. Leather not being a practical sole material for regular wear, I had Bob add a traction layer over the leather for me. You’d never know they weren’t made this way, and best of all, I’m not slipping!
I’ve been wearing them for a few months now and everything’s held up great so far. Bob is super knowledgeable and a neighborhood staple. He’s got the good stuff for leather care, shoe repair, and some awesome cacti!
