The physicians are on-staff at the top-ranked Barnes-Jewish Hospital, ensuring world-class, evidence-based primary and chronic care. Patients describe the practice as very kind and efficient, with no complications or paperwork delays. The providers take great care of their patients, listening to every concern and taking plenty of time to talk. They are trained in many areas of medicine, making care convenient. In times of emergency, they are exceptionally attentive, checking on patients, patiently answering questions, and walking them through every step while including family in conversations. The practice is described as having true gems, and patients feel really lucky to have found them, recommending them to anyone.
I had a wonderful experience. The check in process was easy and I was seen right on time. The medical assistant was very friendly and professional. The doctor I saw was Dr. Pemberton and she was by far the best PCP I have met with. She was so thorough and covered all of my many questions and concerns. She listened actively and showed genuine compassion. She treated me with respect. We came up with a treatment plan that I agreed with and set up a follow up plan. I have been a atient at BJC @the Highlands for about 13 years. Today i ended my servicrs witj that office. When Dr.Wanda Terrell was practicing there the office was awesome. I could get appointments in a reasonable time. When Dr. Johnson came the office seemed to have changed. I did see her twice. The office called me the end of February/early March to inform me that Dr Johnson was no longer with the office and told me that Dr Victoria Johnson was taking her place. I was given an appointment to see her on October 13. I had a medical problem and called the office this morning (September 30) to see if i could get in. My experiences have been ongoing for many years. I've never ever had any problems with the staff in my dr.'s office. I get the time and assistance with what l'm there for.
