So the experience started off exhausting but the end result and the staff at the end were phenomenal. FYI this is located caddy corner from the Center of Advanced Medicine ACROSS Forest Park Parkway!! I was on crutches and made the mistake of not locating it before I got dropped off and it was a little bit of a hike. Parking garage is attached and you are able to reach the CAM via the bridges. Timeliness and efficiency is not the strongest side of the registration office. I work in the medical field and I have a good amount of patience, but, there was only one clerk and she was probably doing the best she could, however, there should be MUCH more staff. After almost an hour and a half wait I was taken downstairs by the nicest transporter, Ralph, to the MRI suite. He was the right amount of chatty and helpful. Wendy performed my MRI and she was a rockstar! Seriously the NICEST medical professional I've had at Barnes in a long time. I think every health care worker could take a page out of her book. Pleasant, patient, smiling, and compassionate. She deserves a raise for sure. After it was over, Ralph, took me to the center for Advanced medicine elevators. He certainly would've taken me up to the fourth floor but I wanted a banana and a water, don't worry, there was nowhere to get one. Overall I recommend this place especially over the other places in the area that provide high quality imaging. And if you're lucky you'll get Ralph and Wendy too!!
