The staff are fabulous, with Shelly and her team offering excellent customer service and quickly responding to inquiries. They send updates and photos to keep owners informed, which adds to the comfort of leaving pets behind. The facility is clean, quiet, and sanitized, with a limited number of dogs allowed to ensure a comfortable stay. Dogs can socialize and exercise with others of similar size, and the staff cater to individual needs, including those with separation anxiety and fear-based aggression. A meet and greet helps build positive associations, especially for reactive pups. Owners can feel confident knowing their pets are in great hands, making it an ideal choice for a worry-free trip. Many customers have shared their positive experiences, noting that their dogs come home happy and healthy after boarding.
We just did a test run before our vacation for our dog that has some stranger danger. Very thankful several people from the shelter recommended Arch City. The meet and greet was very helpful and helped set us at ease for our short trip. If you have a dog that does not love “going to summer camp” I would definitely recommend trying Arch City. They are very affordable and it makes a big difference knowing our girl is with someone that understands and cares for her.
We had a drop our dog off for the first time to be boarded and she absolutely loved the place. I would highly recommend using this place if you have to go out of town.
When I tell you I toured and interrogated every dog boarding facility in the area, I am not exaggerating. I am an anxious dog mom who typically tries to have someone I know personally stay at my house, maintain their routine exactly, and adhere to a several page print out of all my dog's weird quirks. All this to say, I'm so grateful to have found Arch City for when that's not an option. She had answers for all my worst case scenarios and it was very clear that she was detailed oriented and had plans in place. I appreciate the option to get photos sent too and they always look happy.
