Tired of paying $400 a month for one utility. This is absurd and you’re constantly raising rates in the name of “renewable energy being forced without the infrastructure to support it”. I don’t think it is fair to the American people to gouge them on top of the taxes that we pay. Yesterday I saw an Ameren Rivian truck. Those start at $69,000 I don’t think it’s fair to the poor to say you have to raise our rates because the policies of the US government. Yes, when I called to ask about rate increases this is what your company told me. Vultures, I just moved to MO and within 2 months my mother died. I missed a payment because there was so much going on and you know - grief. Not only did these sharks kick the act out of equal pay, but even though I paid $250 instead of $206.36 the day after I got their letter, their “customer service” Doris informed me this wasn’t enough and I owed them hundreds - for what exactly I actually have No idea, because she couldn’t explain what their billing is for to someone who is new to this state. Not enough @regulatory @oversight leads to this disgrace.

Been dealing with ameren since my first ever apartment years ago. This electric/ gas company is nothing but a joke. HORRIBLE customer service. Like most of us during this hard economy that we are facing right now, they simply won’t work with you in any matter even if you got kids with the oldest being 7 to the youngest being 5 months.. all they care about is their money. And the enrollment plans they have to help you with your power bill you can’t even enroll until November, so what’s the point in having those programs when you can’t access them when people really need them? I hope this company sees this post and I hope their family faces the same income problems...read full review
