Last week, Ameren entered our backyard without our permission or knowledge and drove a truck through our yard, destroying our grass. They also cut numerous large branches from several trees and left them for us to clean up. Despite being contacted, Ameren has refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused. I’d love to switch to a different electric company but unfortunately they are my only option!
. I come home and it’s a down wire in my backyard. Naturally, I called Ameren Missouri and reported it. The representative that they sent out was so rude, sarcastic, and dismissive. He basically told me that because it’s not their wire they don’t care about the wire being down nor the vines that possibly caused a fall, he also could not tell me who I needed to call to report the forestry problem that is growing across the wires in my backyard nor did he care to try to help me figure it out? Tree fell in my backyard on July 4th at 2:44pm here it is 7:57am the next morning July 5th. Still no power and it’s 74 degrees rn and will get up to 86 today. I have children and we had to sleep in this heat overnight and no one has yet to update us.
