I called because one of my chickens was having some issues. They were able to see her the next morning and it turned out to be the worst case scenario, cancer, but the vet and everyone else there were very understanding and gentle, and I decided to have them euthanize her rather than suffer, decline, and die in pain. The vet gave her an injection to let her fall asleep with me in the room, then took her to the back to put her down. They were all extremely caring, nice and treated me and my chicken with the utmost care and sympathy, especially for an animal that many people wouldn't think to consider both a backyard hobby, and a pet many people love.

Thank you for working our schnauzer in with a drop off. She had been dealing with pain and issues for almost 2 weeks.Our precious dog is much better thanks to Sunshine Animal Hospital.

My husband found a goldfinch with conjunctivitis. Dr. Mainka took the bird in, medicated his eyes until the infection was gone, and then released him. So thankful for her willingness and ability to help our wildlife. Dr. Mainka and her staff provide a much needed service in this area.
