I was looking for a new place for a more personable experience. After visiting two men’s haircut places father south on Campbell and being uncaringly turned away since they could not take walk-ins, I found Reeds Barber Shop while driving home a bit defeated. I walked in and they were more than friendly, and even though they were also busy they invited me to have a seat and mentioned they would definitely work me in in the next hour. During the wait, all the stylists talked to me and kept me involved with their conversations. It was like being a guests in their home. I really felt grateful for that. Michael Dotson proudly mentioned he had a cancellation and would have the opportunity to cut my hair earlier than thought after a short 15 minute wait. He was helpful on the style I was looking for and took his time to do a superb job. He also had some great stories that kept us both laughing. The location was clean and the chair comfortable. The prices were very reasonable and they know how to cut hair very well. Give it a try. It is a special place. Like me, you will become a returning customer. These places are hard to find, and they genuinely have caring people who enjoy your company while cutting your hair. It’s a business built in skill and relationships.
