I'm excited about started as a tech here. It's a good way to get in and start a path to success. What you take away from it is based off your own abilities and perception. It's a shame when people write bad reviews but you knew the job before hand. We all take a risk so make the best of it. You are the only one who can change things by your attitude and willingness to learn and do things as a team.
