After awful experiences at many different dental offices in Springfield, I finally switched insurance and found Northside Dental. My first visit was all I have hoped for -- very clear plan was presented to me with a fully transparent billing process. I was so happy to hear that my insurance covers 100% of what I need with zero copay. Reviews on yelp for this business are very negative ... several folks have mentioned poorly fitting dentures among other issues. Hopefully this has been addressed with the hiring of 'Tammy', a 14 year dental assistant who has fitted me for partials many times over the years. Perfect fit every time - thanks Tammy. Google Reviews has 281 positive reviews for an overall total of 4.7 stars.
I've been going to Northside for over a decade. Recently, I had an unfortunate experience of a crown breaking in half and falling off. I was about to go out of town for an extended period of time and I wasn't sure of my options. Luckily, when I called the office the next day they had an opening. It was discovered the crown cracked because of a root canal that had gone through it and could have happened to anyone. Dr. Kaelin and Nicole set to getting me fixed up. It was nearing the end of the work day and I was fully prepared to just receive a temporary crown and come back later. They insisted to get me fixed up then.
