I suddenly had to put my 7 year old cat down and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, especially Dr. Mease. It’s never easy putting your loved one down but when the staff loves your baby as much as you do, it makes it a bit easier. The whole process was peaceful, not rushed, and I would recommend this vet a million times over again :)

I’m not one to typically make reviews but I think this one was very deserving. From the front desk lady, Cassidy, to Dr Julie Mease’s vet assistant, to Dr. Mease, I had such a wonderful experience as a new patient. They had an opening to squeeze my pup in for an emergency visit and everything went so smooth. These kind people are so welcoming and seem to really care for your pets! The office is very clean and organized. I will definitely be recommending them, and will be looking into making this Kobe’s home vet. My pup is feeling a lot better from the medication they prescribed for him and his GI issue just a few hours later. Thank you guys so much!

Hometown Vet is the best! I have had a couple different vets for my cat which were all fine, but Hometown Vet goes above and beyond every time. Their customer service never disappoints and they always take the best care of my bff. Their prices are super reasonable compared to the other places in Springfield that we’ve been, and they always do a break down on the costs before the appointment, which I really appreciate.They also use a text chain that is super helpful and convenient. 10/10 ✨
