“I had an excellent morning at the spa! Salon de Christie has long been my favorite spa I’ve ever been to over the years and over many locations (spa services at spas in other states, and spa services on a cruise ship). They consistently have employees that provide superior massages, facials, manicures, etc., and this experience was no different for me. I had a wonderful massage by a talented masseuse, a high-quality facial from a talented esthetician, and a beautiful manicure from a talented nail technician. The morning was relaxing and refreshing for me and I left with pretty nails, glowing skin, and knot free muscles. There are extra little touches that make this spa feel like they go above and beyond, such as a warm lavender neck pillow during my manicure. In addition, the spa aesthetic is very calming and relaxing, the products used are top quality (and smell amazing!) and the ladies at the front desk are friendly and competent. After my manicure I was able to relax for a few minutes near the fire place while my nails dried, which was also nice. I had recently had a facial at a spa while on vacation in North Carolina, and the differences between the facial I received there and the facial I received at Salon de Christie were night and day different. At the one in North Carolina, I had makeup on when I went to the spa, and the aesthetician didn’t fully take off my makeup or mascara before starting my facial. I had smeared mascara still on my face at the end of the facial. She also seemed to rush through the service and the room where I received the facial was not very relaxing with lights that were too bright, etc. In contrast, at Salon de Christie my aesthetician took plenty of time and care to give me an excellent facial, and my husband even commented the next morning about how my skin was glowing. The room was also very relaxing. I have had massages at other spas in the past that may have been relaxing, but really didn’t help much with sore spots or knots in my muscles. The masseuse at Salon de Christie paid attention to areas in my back that needed help and applied the perfect amount of pressure for me. I really have no desire to go anywhere else in the St. Louis area for my future spa services, and Salon de Christie will always be my top choice!“
