I am a business owner. I've used hometown accounting when it was still Sheila Flint... After the business changed hands quality and professionalism of service diminished greatly. On numerous occasions over the years I had to resubmit paperwork and resign paperwork due to being lost or misplaced..
2020 they filed my taxes as if I were separated/divorced.. I was still legally married and living with my wife. I was told someone heard me talk about getting a divorce That's the reason why filing separate. now in 2025 I was contacted by IRS and they said they never received our 2020 taxes. Kingshighway robbery!!! Glenda had my information from last year and this year I had the easiest taxes anybody could do, especially a tax preparer which would take her all of ten minutes to do. She charged me $195.00 for that teeny bit of work. Ridiculous! I won't be back!!!!

They helped us file the paperwork to close our LLC and completed the wrong forms. We contacted them multiple times to request help correcting the situation. We emailed repeatedly, called, and visited their office leaving the information with the receptionist. We were totally ignored. Very unprofessional.
