We were able to do a walk in my for son and Ron did such an amazing job listening to what type of cut my son was looking for and took the time to dry and style his hair afterwards. So happy, we will definitely be back!

He sure was upset about something. I can only assume it was because I did a walk in instead of an appointment. If that's the case, then it's even funnier because I called ahead twice to try to make an appointment, and both times he told me to just do a walk in. If that's not the case, then he takes his bad mood out on customers. As for the actual haircut, he did a few poorly aimed snips in the general direction of my head (one of which cut my skin instead of my hair) then charged me more than usual for it. At the time I thought this was an especially low way of telling a customer not to come back, but after sharing the experience with my colleagues I learned that's how Pine cuts everyone's hair. His employees are good barbers and keep him in business, but his treatment of me cost him a regular customer.

Haircuts done like they're supposed to be. Ron's cuts are unequaled.

My friend and I both asked for short, conservative side parts, easily one of the most simple and universal haircuts in existence. Ron Pine made my friend look like he'd gone bald (very short on top, medium length around the sides) and gave me something between a bowl cut and an afro. He took some of the length off I asked for, but none of the volume.

I can honestly say it was the first time I've ever had a barber of all people complain about the length of my hair. I tried to laugh it off and play along and be pleasant about it, but that was received as an inconvenience. He seemed more interested in gossiping about politics with a customer in the waiting room than he was in cutting my hair. The more time he spent cutting my hair, the more obvious it became that he didn't know what he was doing, and he reacted to this obvious fact by becoming increasingly defensive and standoffish. He wanted to trim my beard too, but no way was I going to give him the opportunity to prick my neck with his scissors like he did to my ear (without apologizing, I might add). The end result was easily the worst haircut I've ever received. I tried to work with him to fix it, but he refused. "You don't want it that short. I'm not going to cut it that short," he said. When I got home I took some scissors to it myself and cleaned up his mess, but next time I'll definitely be taking my money to a barber who can actually cut. And I know it's not just me, because my neighbor said he had a very similar experience here. Ron Pine is the worst and rudest barber ever.
