Be very careful if you do business with this company. Mr Pat Gallagher recently grossly overcharged my 95-year old mother for his tree trimming service. She is extremely hard of hearing, and in this case, her judgement was impaired. He charged her $6000.00 for what amounted to only 2 hours of work. My sister is friends with the owner of another tree-trimming company who was nice enough to inspect the work and give us an estimate as to what the charges should have been. We were told that the maximum that is usually charged for this amount of work is between $2000 and $2500.My brother in law called Mr Gallagher to complain and was given the run around. We've had this company remove three trees in our yard in the 18 years we've lived in our house. Every time it was the same. Fair price, quick scheduling, quick work and thorough cleanup. We just had them out to remove a tall dying cherry tree. They showed up at 7am and were done by 9:30am. Other than the stump (We did not have them grind it, though they do offer it.) you would have never known they were there. Saw dust blown into piles and carried off. Divots in the yard repaired. Not a scratch on our fence, which the tree was within 10 feet of, power lines or raised garden nearby. Highly recommend this company for tree removal.
