This was my first visit with Dr Pletz. Our cat had been limping and isolating himself for 2 weeks. Dr Peltz gave our cat a very thorough orthopedic exam of all his joints. After finding that Toby’s joints were okay, he determined that his nails were growing into his foot pads and causing him pain, especially when he walked. Dr Pletz trimmed his nails and he immediately started to walk better. During the entire visit Dr Peltz gave us very good information about our older cat and suggested we consider a medication that might alleviate arthritic pain, but he did not push it. I found Dr Pletz to be warm and kind and truly interested in the welfare of our pet.
