“10 stars! What a Blessing the Park Lawn Funeral Home family was to our family. Devyn, Lily and Pastor George were just incredible. Since I was in a complete daze after the loss of our loved one, my aunt Jadwiga who was like a mother to me, Devyn guided, comforted and reassured me and my family throughout the process. Though we live long distance and out of state, no matter day or night.. or week end, she was there for me. We have never been through this and I was literally like a floating balloon that she kept grounded. She is so talented, truly capturing Mama’s essence and life story in her obituary.

On the day of the funeral we were kindly greeted before even entering the door and helped with our belongings. They lovingly arranged and displayed the photos. That’s when Lily took over, guiding and comforting our family as she worked with Jessica to get our photos to display on the tv throughout the service.

It was Devyn who guided us to Pastor George McDowell. We could not say enough about how wonderful the service was. He brought wisdom, tears, laughter and comfort.

Driving away from the gravesite, I watched as Lily respectfully awaited for the casket to be lowered. Not as if she was annoyed she had to sit there but truly out of respect for our loved one. That image will remain in my mind Always. I could go on and on. But lastly I would like to mention how at the gravesite a friend’s request was granted. In Polish tradition a candle is lit as the coffin is lowered. Lily sent me a video of that which I will cherish Always.“

“This was my second experience with McGilley Antioch Chapel and again, my expectations were exceeded.

As soon as my father passed away under home hospice and he was transferred promptly to the Newcomer's Floral Hills Care Center, Rodnina from McGilley Antioch Chapel called me to express her condolences and guide me with setting up my funeral planning meeting.

At every step of the planning meeting, Rodnina took the time to explain what options were available to me and also within my budget. She ensured that I completely understood how the funeral arrangements were going to be carried out and answered every question I had, and even presented many helpful suggestions regarding memorial and gift options that I hadn't considered.

The visitation experience went exceedingly well as there was ample room for me to display my family photos and the presentation of the food and refreshments was very organized. The guests didn't have any issues with the facility and the flow of people coming and going was smooth thanks to the on site care team.

Under my late father's wishes to be cremated, Rodnina also took the time to drive to the crematorium to accompany me and my family and ensured we were comfortable with the cremation experience.

Overall, Rodnina and her team did an outstanding job being compassionate, thorough, thoughtful, meticulous to detail, and professional from my first phone contact with her to the tail end of the funeral experience hand delivering my father's remains to me.
