About Boulware Medical Clinic
Based on patient reviews, Boulware Medical Clinic is a practice where the doctors and nurses are consistently described as kind, professional, and caring. Dr. Boulware is noted for being a steady support who listens without judging and truly has patients' backs. The doctors take their time, sit down, and explain things, and are willing to research random concerns rather than dismissing them out of hand. The clinic is a busy office, and patients often have to wait, but many feel the wait is worth it because the staff stays late to ensure everyone is taken care of. They help find the best deals on prescriptions and can handle many issues in-house without needing a specialist. However, there are significant complaints about the front desk staff, particularly an employee named Rose, who has been described as rude, hanging up on patients, and denying appointments for dangerously high blood pressure. Communication is also noted as poor, with it taking too long to get back to patients regarding questions or blood work results. While the medical care is highly praised, the front desk experience and office communication present challenges.
I came in struggling with severe PTSD, depression, and concerns about my health. Over time, I faced injuries that made life even harder, impacting work and family. Dr. Boulware has been a steady support through it all—always listening, never judging, and truly having my back. He’s the first doctor I’ve ever fully trusted. My wife, our two newborn daughters, and I are incredibly grateful for his care. It’s rare to find someone this genuine and reliable, both in the Liberty area and in healthcare overall.
I drive 40 ish minutes to this clinic when there are multiple other clinics closer because its worth it. You may wait a little but its because the Doctors actually take their time with patients. Bob sits down and actually explains things to you.
Unacceptable Treatment from Front Desk Staff
Let me start with that My husband loves Dr. Boulware and his nurses. They are kind, professional, and truly care about their patients.
However, If I could give zero stars for the front desk experience, I would. My husband has been a patient at this office, but the treatment he has received from Rose at the front desk has been nothing short of unacceptable. She has hung up on him, spoken to him rudely, and even denied him an appointment when he was experiencing dangerously high blood pressure—something that should never happen in a medical setting.
