We've purchased several pairs of kids glasses here over the year. The staff is super friendly and they have a good selection of frames. The 1-year warranty included on Kids frames is awesome...we've used it more than once.

There was no wait time. The entire optometry appt was streamlined and took about 20 minutes from start to finish. Dr. Kevin Atwood has a special skill in that he is able to build rapport with patients in a short amount of time. He asked if I had any questions at the end and made recommendations based off my health needs. The only thing I would change is that the technician asked if I needed help finding glasses at the end of the appt. I said I would wait on another day to order glasses. She said, "Ok, everything is done here." I think she assumed I would be ordering from their selection (not a bad selection), but I have to order very specific frames online made for my low Asian bridge, so I needed a copy of my glasses prescription. While it didn't take long for her to get a copy for me it would be helpful if they automatically sent patients home with a paper copy if they choose not to pick out glasses right after the eye appt. Scheduling wasn't too bad. I like being able to make an online appt, so I can visibly see available time blocks, but calling here and making an appt was seamless. Is Walmart glorious? No, but after all was done, I went shopping and picked up some things I needed before heading home, so this was an overall 5-star experience.

"Painless Optometry" It is really nice to see a professionally run, efficient, friendly operation. During a time when the stress of life take their toll on the entire service industry, it is refreshing to find such a place in Wal Mart! COVID-19 Considerations: Traffic flow is controlled by first having an appointment only policy (but tempered with common sense for emergency and quick fix activities), mask / temperature checks / sanitizing prior to even customer entry, and a roped off entry to reduce sneak-ins. You are met by a technician who verifies your appointment, does the temperature check, offers sanitizer, and then leads you to their work station. The technicians work with you (while practicing social distancing) during frame selection. I was impressed when I saw both technicians double checking each others work. Prices are in line with others in the industry. Most major credit cards and insurance are accepted. There is also an optometrist on site. I do highly recommend checking them out.
