What can I say about this place. Trains are a special place in my sons heart and you guys knock it out of the park each time he orders something. Thank you for all the great work and trains!!!

I ordered two C-44 engines for my boys for Christmas. I ordered them around 8 PM eastern, right when they send the stock notifications. (Main reason I only gave 4/5 is because of their stock issues, but I do understand they hand make them and there is a big demand for realistic wooden trains) The trains were shipped quickly and came in perfect condition. I'm impressed that the big engines can go around the 3" track.

Unacceptable customer service. I ordered a train from them as my sons leaving the hospital gift. I ordered it on 01/23 and they took my money the same day. I still haven't received my train. I have called and emailed and have had zero response from them at all. February 11th I decided to cancel my payment since I never received my item through pay pal. Within 3 days of entering the dispute, I received a generic email from whittle Shortline railroad stating "we are working on your order and you will receive an email when it's shipped". They weren't even professional enough to apologize. By the way it's February 17th and I still haven't received my train or an email saying...read full review
