Have been a satisfied customer for over a decade and used the Plaza location until Covid hit so I swithched over the their delivery service. I was a member of their Platinum Club (think I was paying $25 per year). This year I started seeing a $10 charge in January and then a $30 charge in May. This was not related to an order I had placed. Called the company last week and explain the situation. The person on the line was not very courterous and said that the responsible person was not at work but would have them call me when they returned. Never heard back so I called again on May 30th. Did get to talk to someone and finally determined that the two charges were for the Platinum Club. She informed me that it was now a monthly charge of $10. I stated that I had not been notified of this change in policy or authorized the charges. She cancelled my membership and gave me a $30 credit but I am still very disappointed in their approach to this change in the Platinum Club and the lack of communications. In the past, I've received a personal email from the owner when I sent in positive reviews. That really impressed me and I'm hoping that I'll hear back this time. Going from $25 to $120 per year seems to be excessive when you are trying to build customer loyalty.
