My son and I went to watch a play about autism, performed by people with autism, on a whim. It was a great experience. More importantly, the staff was welcoming and helpful. Well done.
Convenient parking, very comfortable seats - the theater and its accoutremonts are first rate. And then, there are the actors and production people who make attending performances the magical event one hopes for. 12th Night is just stunning.
The University of Missouri has a relationship with the repertory theater and so this professional theater operates out of this building while the building simultaneously hosts students studying everything from dance to jazz. The building was built back in the 70s but the front lobby has been remodeled nicely to include the station for serving drinks during intermission and floor to ceiling windows... multiple theaters, stages, practice rooms… Dressing rooms and a full set construction Shop and costume sewing rooms… This building is a perfect space for encouraging creativity! 5 floors worth.
