I went to Island Tan yesterday for the first time in a while, and I was so impressed with the service that I had to leave a review. Samantha was working the front counter, and she was incredibly kind and professional. I purchased a week pass and came fully prepared — or so I thought! When I got to my tanning room, I realized I forgot a hair tie. I walked out to ask if she had an extra one, and without hesitation, Samantha took the hair tie out of her own hair and handed it to me.

I’ve been coming here off and on to tan since I was in high school (probably about 10 years) and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place. The prices are better than anywhere else I’ve found in KC as they almost always have some sort of deal going, the store is always clean, and most importantly the employees are awesome. I always feel welcomed when I step in here. I’ve been other places a few times and it just never feels like I belong there, but when I go to Island Tan I feel right at home!
