We took our two dogs in for boarding and training. We have been pleased with the results. One of our dogs is a rescue who was abused; and we are going to follow up the boarding training with some one-on-one sessions.
We are especially pleased with the trainer, who took a lot of time explaining the training to us; but everyone was knowledgeable about our dogs, and could share information with us when we called or came and dropped of a prescription refill.

Bill is a miracle worker. Our dog kiki was not listening before she met Bill. Now she’ll come when is called. Kiki did the 4 weeks board and train. Bill was very patient. I would get a weekly report on how she is doing. I would highly recommend Bill to anyone that needs help with their dogs.
Our 8 yr old coonhound Tucker stayed at Elkhound for 4 weeks. He went through training during that time. Bill the lead trainer did an amazing job with Tucker. Bill will give you and your dog a solid foundation in obedience on which to build upon. Its been 3 weeks since Tuckers training and he is a different dog and happier. Bill will work with you and support you after training is complete. He is a true professional. The people at Elkhound are real dog people. I would use them again.
