The Barbery Center of Waldo offers an old-school barbershop experience with skilled barber Phil, who has been cutting hair for decades. Customers praise Phil's artistry, expertise, and warm community presence, describing the barbershop as a sanctuary where one can unwind, socialize, and leave with a fantastic haircut and a new lease on life. While Phil has faced some health challenges, the center also employs exceptional alternate barbers who can provide the same high-quality service.
Phil is an old school barber, a rare bird these days. He gives an old school cut in old school digs at old school prices. He knows what he's doing, has done it for decades, and knows his community like the back of his hand. I've only had one cut with him, but it was perfect and I hope I don't have to go anywhere else for a cut ever again.
Best damn cut I've had in years. One of the only true and real barbershops left in KC. Phil is philosopher, advisor, coach, connoisseur of the life, and an absolute artist with hair. This place is my new sanctuary to unwind, imbibe with fellow patrons, and leave with a new lease on life as well as an amazing cut! Make sure you ask for one of his cookies.
Phil Demaggio has been my Personal Barber for the last 20 years & is doing a fantastic job. Lately, health issues have slowed him down so I have (Pat) Carol & Company to fill in as a pinch hitter. Both do exceptional jobs the way I want to look including facial features. Get well Phil we need you back here to finish the job. Tony Lordi aka The Music Man
