“Dr. J and her team are incredible. They are doing something really special at Freeman East Rehab. They genuinely care, not just for the patient but also for the family. They want the family here and offer a bed and meals. They have a morning huddle so everyone, the doctors, nurses, nurses assts, PTs, and OTs are up-to-date and on the same page. They spend 3 hours a day doing a combination of physical and occupational therapy; each day they write the schedule on your whiteboard, so you know what to expect. The doctors are truly amazing. They spend time with you and the patient each day. It never feels rushed. All questions are answered and concerns are addressed. The nurses and techs go` over and beyond, not just once, but day after day. It is what healthcare should be. My family is so grateful that my dad got to receive his post-stroke rehab here.
