We had been having issues with our main HVAC unit this last fall/winter, it stopped blowing cold air late fall and we had someone come service and "fix" it and paid $300 for that. Come winter when I flipped the heat on, NO heat came out. Nothing. I had someone else come out and they were here for 3-4 hours. They told me my pressure switch was bad and the motherboard needed replaced too. He said with "the age of my unit" (we built in 2017) I may need to just replace the whole thing which would be about $6000. I said let's try just replacing the motherboard and see if that fixes it. He told me a week later he "couldn't get one for my model". I paid another $300 for that...read full review
