I worked for Phoenix as a care giver. I had a regular client for about a year with a consistent schedule. Once my client left service, they weren’t able to give me a consistent schedule, only fill in shifts. Some of it was me wanting to stay within a certain mile range. I was told at the end of last year, when I knew my client was leaving, that they were slow and didn’t have many hours, yet they were hiring. Unfortunately this seems to be common in home health care. It’s a good job, if you have a second income.
Phoenix Home Health is great with catheter care for my sibling. Nurses are highly knowledgeable, thorough, excellent educators and compassionate. Nurse Cordell has been a strong support. Caring and understanding of patient needs. Thank you!!
I’ve been with Phoenix for 7 years this summer.
I have lymphedema in both legs. When I first met Will Bates, I had lost all hope of ever having a normal life and had been near death a few times because of issues associated with the lymphedema. On that first home appointment my lover legs were about the size of volleyballs. Heavy and I couldn’t hardly lift them to walk. Will told me he could reduce my legs down in 3 weeks. I don’t know if I believed him because I had been to many “specialized” doctors & in many hospitals. I really thought my life was almost over.
