First timer here, just a regular guy that was looking for rocks for his fish tanks and pond. I pre called the facility first to make sure it’s not just for contractors or require certain pounds per purchase. The lady on the phone was super nice and friendly, she answered all of my questions. They do sell rocks individually to regular people like me. Normally I go to Randy’s rock nursery in lees summit but their selection and customer service is not the greatest these days. Glad I tried out Empire, it was awesome.The 2 lady’s in the small office were very nice to me and welcoming. Amazing company! Last night, we ran out of wood and I was having trouble finding some available around town. Most people weren’t even getting back to me. I found Empire on Facebook Marketplace and when I called, they were technically closed but said they would wait for me. The roads were terrible and temps were in the negatives. They stayed an HOUR past closing to wait for me to get there. The wood was great quality and burns nice and slow. We will definitely be returning customers! Whoever waited for us…I can’t thank you enough!
