The doctor who examined me for a UTI sent off a urine culture. After 2 days, she called me with news that the medicine she prescribed would not work for the type of infection. She also directed me to the ER for an IV. After waiting 2-1/2 hours I saw the Attending physician who read my lab results told me that in fact, I didn’t need an IV antibiotic and sent me home with a oral prescription to take for 10 days. The visit cost me money and time. Not to mention the ER patients who mostly were in a more serious need of medical attention.

The ease of being seen and getting an appointment were two of the most important points.

They fail to provide any relief when you are sick and treat you like crap. I will never go here again.

I was in here 8/13. I have a sore throat, heavy chest. So I figured I’d bee seen really quick to rule out any sickness. The FRONT DESK woman was beyond IGNORANT. She asked for my debit card for my file. I asked why because I have insurance that covers fully. She looks at me with pure disgust and rolls her eyes and says “then go to your primary.” The audacity of this woman while I had two kids, coming to the urgent care was a lot quicker than waiting for an appointment at my primary. I will be contacting whoever is head over mercy go health. This lady should not be the front face of this place. Beyond rude!

Staff in the center is great. Billing not so much. You have to put your billing card on file to be seen so your bill can be auto-paid. The problem is, when there is an issue, like your insurance was not submitted properly, and they warn you that they are going to take out the full amount for the visit, you cannot get in touch with their billing department.
We've spent 4+ hours on hold through multiple calls, only to be disconnected. We've tried multiple numbers only to have the same issue. The issue is clear as day. They ran my wife's name as the Guarantor for the insurance through my work. Of course the insurance denied it. So now they're going to take several hundreds of dollars out and we are helpless to stop them.
Again, the staff in the center is fantastic, minus the billing error. People make mistakes. It happens. However, not being able to get in touch with anyone in the billing department to ask them to fix the issue, is beyond frustrating.
Mercy should revaluate their partnership with GoHealth.

If you go here make sure they take your insurance and settle up. Go Health handles the billing not Mercy and it is hell to get in contact with them. Basically I was told I would only owe $50 on the date of my visit in early January. Was under the assumption that my insurance was taken when I reserved a spot online since they didn't ask at the clinic. A week or so later I received a bill for $75. I tried to contact go health, Mercy's 3rd party billing service. I have tried to contact via email, phone and help ticket on Go Healths website. Otherwise the medical service rendered was fine. I typically trust mercy but they need to rethink this aspect of their UrgentCare Service even if it affects their bottom dollar.
Update 2/21/2025 I received an email stating the discrepancy was corrected and the $75 can be disregarded. Unfortunately I had to contact someone higher than corporate to fix this.

These people don't know what they're doing. They even tried to charge my fiance' over $200 without his authorization. This charge came after he made a yelp review on this location on 1/18... after they lost his paperwork and tried lying to him, saying he was at the wrong location. Which he wasn't...and that was proven when one of the workers finally looked and found THE PAPERWORK! ...The statement said for 1/17/25 but he did not step foot in MERCY on 1/17/25. Terrible people and business.

Besides the nurse and front desk girl this is the absolute worst urgent care. Please do not waste your time and money here. They read off the internet your symptoms and can't actually diagnose you. I have to go back to my doctor to get took care of. The doctor or whatever she is is incompetent ill be back to let you know my actual diagnosis!
