The groomer at my best friend's Barber is my sister. She has nothing but good reviews. She even has gotten rewards cuz she's the best. Her shop is in excelsior springs. I highly suggest that you take your dogs to her.

Miss Abby at the front desk is such a great representation of this place! Abby is so knowledgeable and helpful, she goes above and beyond to help answer questions and explains everything! She greets you with a smile every time you come in! This place is soon clean and a nice atmosphere, I would recommend this place to everyone!
Zach and his team are always courteous, clean up after themselves, and will talk you through any issue. I Maintain a large facility and have always called them to repair or replace items throughout. We have older drains underground and they clog a couple times a year. Zach will always make time to come out and clean them. I highly recommend!
We’ve been dancing with Jeri for 3 years now and we absolutely adore her. What started off with us just wanting a routine for our wedding, quickly turned into us coming regularly and building relationships with who we call now our dance family. Jeri is an amazing instructor! Starting off, my husband had 2 left feet. With her patience and exceptional teaching, my husband and myself not only had an amazing routine for one of the most important days of our lives, but found a new passion and hobby. Jeri has choreographed many routines for us and we have had the opportunity to represent Jeri and her studio at different events as well. She has helped us excel with our dancing and we often get mistaken for other dance instructors! Jeri teaches every dance you can think of and can make great dancers out of anybody! On top of all that, her prices are more than reasonable and she offers dance parties at least one a month where we can all get together and dance our hearts out! If you’re interested in spicing some things up with your partner or coming solo for fun everyone dances! You don’t need a partner! It’s a beautiful atmosphere with amazing people and I’m honored to have found a home away from home. Thank you Jeri for everything!!!

I highly recommend Blue Sparrow. They provided great service. Needed some trees removed and trimming and they did a fantastic job. Joy provided great customer service and was very helpful. She went above and beyond what was needed. Joy also brought to my attention an electrical vault that was damaged and helped to get that resolved.

I have used TK remodeling for roof repair, and my holiday lights. Tom is very good with follow up and making sure the repairs are done right and my holiday lights are always amazing. Our beloved dog Macy had surgery at the clinic. The clinic evacuated due to neighborhood fire. Everyone was so kind and concerned. They helped get all the animals out of the clinic. Thank you so very much.

After moving from the concrete jungle (Los Angeles) to a small-town community in Missouri, I wanted that small-town barbershop vibe. Smith's Barber Shop did not disappoint. There are two barbers in there, and I have had my hair cut by both. The owner of the shop offers old-school neck and shoulder massages as a finishing touch, which is a nice touch. They both clean up your lines with a straight razor, which isn't common, at least to me. They take care of all hair, head, beard, eyebrows, heck, even ear hair if it's long! And it is all included in the same $20 price. Our local chain hair cut shop charges the same price for a basic 5-minute haircut, with no facial hair clean-up, no straight razor clean-up, etc. They also take the time to work closely with their clients. The last time I came in, I was in the chair for over 30 minutes because the barber was ensuring it was perfect. Unfortunately, that CAN lead to a long wait, potentially, and I believe they are cash only.
We needed four shirts embroidered on the left chest in a super tight two day turnaround. Not only did they get the shirts done in less than 24 hours, they turned out fantastic! Their prices are incredibly reasonable and the customer service is top of the line. This is the second time we have used them for embroidery and we plan to utilize their services for heat transfers soon!

MoJos will be our go-to service for HVAC service. They replaced our entire HVAC system this year. They arranged an initial visit on our schedule. Despite Dr. Whitehead being bald (he’s not completely bald mind you) he’s a fantastic Dentist. He’s sensible, doesn’t push hard on procedures that aren’t truly necessary and is easy going. The staff is also great! If you say the secret password “clean teeth” to one of the receptionist, they give you a free tooth brush or a high five (your choice). I will continue to go hear as long as I’m allowed.
Everyone who works here is SO wonderful and kind. Amy did an amazing job on my nails! She gave me exactly the design I asked for and didn't charge extra for the designs, she was gentle and very careful of my cuticles which I super appreciate. The results was SO cute ? I've been getting stars on my nails for a long time & she painted the best stars I've ever had!! She did it quickly and efficiently too!
I got a pedicure as well which was wonderfully relaxing, and she did a cute design on my toes as well. I enjoyed the long massage and the good scrub.
The place itself is clean, smells nice (not overly smelling like chemicals like nail salons often do) and it was decorated beautifully with crystal chandeliers.
I will definitely be coming back here and bringing my family here when they come to visit me as well!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a multi-day conference for about 50 colleagues at The Elms. What a fabulous retreat it was! We looked at several properties when we were planning our event, and this one appeared to check all the boxes. However, we know that what is on paper does not necessarily translate to reality. Lucky for us, this property exceeded our expectations! I strongly recommend this location for a retreat or conference. The hotel is stunning, and the amenities – both for the conference and the individual rooms – were really well-appointed and comfortable. The property grounds are a nice size, providing plenty of space to spread out and take time away if needed, but not so big that one gets lost or disengaged from the group. The multiple seating areas throughout the hotel lobby, around the perimeter, and in the yard, as well as all of the lawn games available throughout, provided many opportunities for teammates to connect. The gazebo and the fire pit added to the overall ambiance. (Definitely book the s’mores activity if you have time! What fun!) And a special shoutout to Jay for the super fun ghost tour! What a great collection of stories with a little jump scare thrown in for good measure . . . For conference amenities: Having the option to choose between two ballrooms allowed us to pick the location that was JUST RIGHT for our group; we weren’t just forced to pick the only option that could accommodate our group. We wanted lots of natural light, so the Regent Ballroom was the perfect choice. And because of the size of our team, we were able to have both an E-shaped conference area setup AND rounds in the back for meals. The A/V was setup perfectly and very easy to use, and the breakout spaces were well appointed for our needs. We did run into a couple of snags with regard to a couple meals not being in alignment with stated dietary restrictions, and difficulty in coordinating some transportation for out-of-town guests, but when we brought these issues to the staff’s attention, they promptly – and very apologetically – addressed our concerns. Based on their reactions, I suspect these won’t be issues in the future, but I would encourage you to confirm these with your event coordinator prior to your event. We would happily return to this property if we need a Kansas City retreat area in the future, and recommend you make a visit if you’re in the market for the same!
