Went to the facility at 594 s Mitchell, it was an awesome experience. Very picky on trailers, must be a dry van with swing doors, must be clean (they provide a broom to sweep it into a pile and they will clean it from there), must have at least one load strap or bar. Loads are light and loaded and out of there within an hour.
I picked up a load yesterday at Sonoco Plastics. The location is actually called West Warehouse at Mitchell drive and Corporate Drive, on the west side of this intersection, between Skillpath and Pepsi. No sign here.The lot has plenty of room to swing in and back in straight to dock.The young lady in the shipping office understands us completely, and genuinely respects us and appreciates us. Janelle is a diamond in the rough, the gold standard of shipping personnel. She had me in and out of a dock in 20 minutes, 2 hours before my appointment. Treat her with respect and she will give you what you don’t expect!!!
Requires one strap or load lock, trailers must be clean, they do offer brooms and ask you sweep it to the end of the trailer and they’ll pick it up for you. Docks are on the back side of the building. No restrooms but for portajon. They do offer chips and drinks for the wait.
