“These folks were really easy to work with. They let us borrow several samples until we found the right option and also guided us to carpet in 15-foot rolls so we could avoid seams. Their install crew worked quickly and did a very nice job. I really like the little roll at the top of each step. Looks nice and we didn’t have that before. Our furniture (which is heavy) was moved without damage and placed back exactly where it was supposed to be. Would highly recommend.“

“We received the best customer service we’ve ever experienced with Custom Wood Floors by Stan. Stan literally saved Christmas! We had hired another floor company to finish the hardwood floors we installed in a new addition to our home. The other company created a “halo” effect around the perimeter of our entire room due to incorrect sanding methods. We knew this wasn’t correct but the other company repeatedly assured us it was a “shadow”, and suggested we move forward with top-coating the floor. We asked Stan for a 2nd opinion and he came the very next morning and confirmed that we were right and it was, in fact, a sanding issue. We tried to get our first contractor to fix the issue but after much back-and-forth, delays and denial, we realized we weren’t getting anywhere with our contractor & needed someone who knew what they were doing and Stan assured us that he could fix it. Stan came the very next day and started the process of re-sanding the entire floor. Not only that, but he stayed and put on the first coat of stain and came back that evening to put on the first coat of polyurethane. This was on Thanksgiving Eve, and he went above and beyond when he didn’t have to, to fix a problem created by someone else. He then returned to finish the job on Friday after Thanksgiving with the final top coat of poly so that we could get our Christmas tree up and start enjoying our holiday season. Our floors are absolutely beautiful, there is no longer a halo or “shadow” due to incorrect sanding. (See photos) But the real star of the show here is not how beautiful our floors turned out (they are PERFECT! ?), but how amazing Stan treated us with his amazing customer service. He truly cares about people and it wasn’t just a job for him, he realized it was our home and our lives. He didn’t have to take care of us like this, it wasn’t his mistake to fix, but he did it anyway. I will tell everyone our experience and will recommend Stan to everyone I know. Thank you, Stan!“
