The store was very well stocked. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to fund what I was looking for and was unable to ask for assistance. The employees were busy talking to one another & not working the floor. After being greeted with a welcome, not one associate asked me if I needed help or if I was finding everything ok. I was in the store for over 30 minutes, mostly in the same area. It's really unfortunate.
Though I had no choice but to take my 1 year old, Sade assisted me patiently, answered all my questions and helped me find what I was looking for. And a dupe for a long time wanted Mac product.
Very LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive, made me feel very welcome.
When I walked in, I set a max budget of $200, but was also prepared to only buy wingtip eyeliner. Just depending on how the experience of shopping-while-trans went, y'know?
The first associate I saw (Taylor), greeted me with enthusiasm, and was just a huge help, very upbeat, and kind. You could tell she was happy to be at work.
I think she gave me, maybe 30 minutes of her time, which is so far beyond my expectations, and tremendously helpful. There was good effort on her part to understand my aesthetic, and exactly the right amount of steering towards her tried-and-true favorites.
