Fresenius Medical Care at St Mary'S Hospital Of Blue Springs

I had the unfortunate luck to have to visit St. Mary’s er over the weekend. what I was hoping was maybe just weird gas pain turned out to be appendix. By Monday morning I was in surgery. Brian and Ali in the er are absolutely wonderful caretakers. Becky, Mark and Kristen in pacu are also the best. They were all very attentive and caring. I hope I never have to visit you all again, but if I do, I know I will be in great hands.

I had been needing to get a mammogram done for awhile and woke up one morning deciding to do it. St. Mary's Breast Center takes walk-ins Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Perfect! I checked in at the information desk, answered some questions and gave my insurance info, then was directed to the mammography waiting room. I didn't wait very long at all, went back, changed and was even asked if I wanted a standard mammogram or a 3D. They told me that my insurance covered either one so I chose the 3D. I was in the ER at St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs. I had excellent care. They were efficient and caring. I was surprised at how quickly I was put in a exam room. They had me hooked up to the monitors, lab was drawn and a chest x-ray was done all within 45 minutes. The staff made me feel at ease and kept me informed. I was impressed. The nurse who cared for me, Misty, was great. I hope I don't need to go back, but would choose this ER if the need arises.
