My overall review is positive with some suggestions. I came in for a tooth extraction and was taken back for x-rays and an exam. The primary focus became more about my overall dental health instead of the reason for my visit, getting my tooth out. The Dentist was very professional and I felt had a good bedside manner, but my extraction wasn't the initial focus which frustrated me. After confirming that indeed the tooth in question does need to come out, and confirmed other dental work, I was sent to the financial office to make payment arrangements for my ENTIRE dental plan up front before scheduling for any procedure. In fairness, with my insurance the cost was very reasonable for the work being done, but I've never been forced to pay for procedures up front before the work could be scheduled. It wasn't offered to piece the work out and pay for the procedure before work was started at each visit, like a lot of offices do. I was in pain and wanted it gone, so I put the cost on a credit card. The other staff was great and professional, again the dentist did a phenomenal job and I do recommend this office. Suggestions. Please, change your financial procedures moving forward. People need to feel like they can come in and get work done without the high pressure sales while in pain. Secondly, get your dentist some support. I sat in the dental chair and hour and 15 minutes. In that time I received a topical numbing agent and 20 minutes later about 4 numbing shots. 40 minutes later the dentist showed up, apologized for the delay and began working. In the process I received 3 more numbing shots. Im not hard to numb, it was just the time it took for her to start on me, the other shots were starting to wear off. Not the fault of the dentist on this one, but this office is ungodly busy. She needs support.
