“John originally bid a small project on my house. After meeting him, then seeing the quality of his work, I ended up signing contracts for about $40k worth of rehabbing with him. Demo, new deck, retaining walls, driveway, refinishing hardwood floors, new interior and exterior doors, wood work, new front porch, plumbing, new drywall and drywall repair, new bathroom fixtures, electrical work and more. He is a very good general contractor, is able to get his subs scheduled efficiently and moves quickly. If he said the guys would be at my house, they were there. His bids were all competitive - I got more than one bid for just about every project. The one time I thought I'd save myself a bit of money by using someone else, I got stiffed.
