Our side yard and back yard were partly wooded and mostly disaster, with decaying DIY stairs, an abandoned play area, a collapsing DIY wall, and erosion from the neighbor’s runoff. Lance’s vision was to let the woods be woods, rip everything out, grade and resod. We added walkways to and from new aggregate stone stairs, and we have grass now to control the erosion. One hiccup was that the crazily laid out inground sprinkler system had to be rerouted to go under the walkway and alongside the stairs. The end result is a maintenance-free, gorgeous back yard with a wooded buffer adjoining the lot behind us. I can’t recommend Lance’s company enough, they were diligent and conscientious.

I could not recommend anyone better than Lance's landscaping! Lance and his team were fantastic, thorough planners, and provided the solutions that we needed to help with our drainage issues. For a few years since we bought our home, both sides of our house had poor drainage and the buried corrugated pipe was clogged and poorly maintained from the prior owners. Our only solution was to have it dump onto the yard and turn it into a mud pit. Lance was able to fit us in between other jobs in the area and was able to bury PVC drain pipes, pop-ups, and catch basins all in a single days work. To brag on how well their solution worked, we were one of the unfortunate homes that experienced 9+ inches of rain in 6 hours on July 26th in the St. Louis area. Even with the historic rainfall, our yard drained flawlessly. Thank you so much Lance and team for allowing us to have GRASS in the corners of our yards for the first time since owning our home!

I cannot recommend Lance enough for any landscaping needs. After years of nothing but sloped dirt and rocks for a backyard, Lance and his team gave us the beautiful flat grass-covered backyard we had always wanted. It was a joy to work with him! He worked very well with our neighbors and our neighborhood association to make sure that everything was done correctly and that everyone was happy. It was always easy to contact him with any questions that we had along the way, and he was excellent at listening to our wants and desires for our backyard. It was refreshing to work with someone who truly takes pride in his work and is dedicated to quality work that will last!
