Tony is the absolute best! I cannot recommend him and Richards Heating & Cooling strongly enough. We had a broken boiler for several days while temperatures were just hovering around freezing. There was no room in the schedule for us, but Tony knew how important it was to have heat in our home, so he made time for us at the end of the day to help us get the issue, resolved as quickly as possible. The next day we found an additional issue that couldn't have been diagnosed the first day, and he again came back, despite having a full schedule that day as well. He was an absolute hero, and we owe him big time! We have also worked with Matt at Richards, and he is also outstanding. The whole team from Richards is so great that we are officially canceling our home appliance insurance policy so we can work directly with Richards going forward. Thank you Richards team! You guys are the best!
When furnace failure occurred and we called, we received straight-talk, recommendations and quick service. Replacement took only 3 hours.
I kicked on my AC yesterday and had no response. We had several power surges during the storms last week and figured it may have had something to do with it. I called Richard's after hours ( they installed the split system in 2019) and they had a tech out next day by noon. Maynor was courteous, knowledgeable and even allowed me to look over his shoulder to learn something. After troubleshooting (the real skill of any HVAC tech) he determined it was a short in the contactor...sure enough the unit was visibly fried and he replaced it in short order. Called for cooling and it fired right up! Thanks Maynor and Richard's for great service at a fair price!
