We played this course late on a Friday morning in July. There were four golfers in our group plus a child rider. We played a two team scramble with one group hitting from the forward tees and the other hitting from the second to the back tees.
The pace of play became log jammed at the thirteenth hole despite efforts from a couple of rangers trying to keep the flow moving. Carts were in good condition. The old barn off hole 11 was beautiful.
This was a beautiful and challenging course. The grounds crew knew how to place difficult pin locations. If your putting game is not up to par it will be a long day for you. False green fronts abound with many greens...read full review
I feel like a 4.6 doesn’t do this course justice. This course operates as a high end course, from the check in to waters before your round and club cleaning while you putt in 18. This course was worth every penny. Very challenging, but well maintained!
The course itself gets 5 stars. Beautiful and well-maintained. Challenging! I would argue it's a bit overpriced though considering the service is average. The bucket of range balls is pretty small which I guess is fine. One of the times I played, the range was mats only. Not really an issue for me except they didn't have tees and I couldn't get a tee into it. Not being able to drive at a range before a round is disappointing.
My biggest issue is the pace of play. I played on a Saturday afternoon and the front 9 was good. Waited a little bit but expected for a nice weekend afternoon. Then comes the back 9. I waited 20 minutes to tee off on 11. I was walking so I...read full review
