Heidi is amazing! If you have been considering getting your brows Microbladed, she is your girl! She is incredibly skilled, and has your best appearance and comfort in mind when performing services. After doing a ridiculous amount of research on microblading in Minneapolis, I kept coming back to Heidi! Her brows all looked incredibly natural. I finally decided to take the plunge, and I had both my brows and lips done with Heidi about 6 weeks ago. I AM SO HAPPY with the results! I’ll be honest, it’s not the most comfortable thing I’ve ever experienced, but you have to know what you’re getting into when you get these services done. With that said, Heidi took tremendous steps to make sure I was comfortable throughout the services. I personally found microblading of my brows more uncomfortable than getting my lips tinted. Even though there was some discomfort, it was 100% worth it! I feel like I look a million times better when I’m not wearing makeup now than I did before. I was a typical 90s girl that plucked my brows half to death. Now, in 2019, I found myself using more brow pencil to fill them in and give my face some definition. After one visit with Heidi, my brows are beautiful all the time, and I feel so much more comfortable not wearing eye makeup! I’m obsessed with my lip tint as well! I was always a little self conscious about my lips, especially with the freaking Kylie Kardashians out there with their perfect pouts. The tint gave me a just kissed, youthful lip. I went a little darker on the lip tint because I generally wear darker glosses and stains with my coloring. I could honestly not be happier with the way it turned out! As for the healing process - My brows were a little tender for a day or two. It’s to be expected when a blade has cut into your face and infused color. Like I said, I knew what I was getting into. I was slightly concerned immediately after the first appointment because the brows were darker and more defined than I anticipated. Heidi assured me they would appear bushy for a few days, and then fade. Three days later, they looked PERFECT. I almost found myself missing the darker look once I had gotten used to it! Within a week, they were no longer ”scabby”. I say scabby because I don’t know how else to describe it, but it was really just kind of flaky, dry skin while it healed. For the love of god, listen to her and don’t pick at it. Let your body heal and the results will be amazing! The lips took a little longer. They started peeling 3-4 days after the tinting and felt INCREDIBLY dry. I was worried the peeling meant I had done something wrong, and wasn’t keeping them moisturized enough, but Heidi said it’s normal. I used a ton of aquaphor, drank a ton of water, and avoided any food that was super spicy or salty. They felt back to normal 10-12 days later, but the color didn’t really pop until 4 weeks later. From everything I read online, it’s pretty typical for lip tint color to look great when you leave the appointment for a few days after, fade to about half the intensity, then come back with great pigment 3-4 weeks later. That’s exactly what I experienced. Once the color came back, I was completely obsessed. I love love love Heidi! Go see her for all your permanent makeup needs!
Love love my new eye brows! I have alopecia and had 95% of my brows gone. She made the most realistic, wispy natural brows that I could ask for! I cried when she gave me a mirror and showed me because i didn’t think they could turn out so amazing!
