I think a good portion of the staff has been courteous to the members. Several of the trainers and desk folks are super great people. Some of the locker room staff seem unhappy working there and don't seem very friendly.
A bit more organization around those joining classes. As a social, intermediate pickleball player, it pains me to have an unorganized chaos of who is playing at what level. I heard that this location is removing the instructors from open plays and somehow being strict to those who can join based on their DUPR scores, but are not providing sufficient ways for members to actually GET a DUPR score....read full review
I really love this gym and am so thankful for all the guidance and expertise they offer in regards to healthy living and being happy. BUT I joined this location in part specifically because of what they offer in terms of recovery. They are drawing that down now, and I am not sure why. You used to be able to reserve a massage bed in advance on the app, and now it's FCFS. As if I am going to sit and wait 15 minutes for an opening. Also now they don't monitor the recovery space, and the massage guns were stolen and who knows when they'll be replaced. I’ve been coming to this location for several years and I truly appreciate the coaches, staff, and the variety of classes offered.
However, recently it has become noticeably busier, and with that I feel the overall experience has been declining, even as the membership rates continue to increase.
- The parking lot has become extremely crowded. There have been times when I’ve arrived with enough time for class but still almost ended up late because I couldn’t find a spot 🫠 Lately, people also tend to wait nearby to get a spot as soon as they see someone walking to their cars, which I understand, but not ideal.
